Overview

This page describes the cookies and browser storage this marketing site (usestackable.com) uses. It does not cover the separate Shopify-embedded Stackable app, which relies on Shopify's own session cookies to keep your admin session secure.

We keep this simple: essential cookies that make the site work, and one optional category (analytics) that only runs if you say yes.

Essential (always on)

These are required for the site to function and can't be turned off:

stackable_cookie_consent
Stored in your browser's local storage. Remembers your cookie choice (essential-only or accept-analytics) so we don't ask again on every page.

Analytics (only after you say yes)

If you click "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate site traffic - which pages get visited, roughly how many people, and what they came from. It does not run before you accept, and it stops running if you later change your choice to essential-only.

Non-essential cookies, currently just Google Analytics, and any other analytics or advertising tool we may enable in the future (for example a Meta/Facebook Pixel, which exists in our codebase but is not currently active), are gated behind this same consent choice - they never load before you accept.

_ga, _ga_*
Set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and sessions. Typical Google Analytics retention applies.

Manage your choice

You can change your choice at any time using the controls below, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site (which brings the banner back on your next visit).

You haven't made a choice yet - the banner will reappear on your next visit.
