Using the AI campaign assistant

Describe the discount you want in plain English and the assistant drafts it for you to review. Here is how it works and how to get the best results.

The AI campaign assistant on your Stackable home turns a plain-English description into a ready-to-review draft campaign. You tell it what you want to run, it asks a question or two if anything is unclear, shows you exactly what it will build, and then hands you a draft in the campaign builder. It never publishes anything on its own, so you always get the final say.

How it works

  • Describe your deal in the box, for example "20% off all hoodies this weekend".
  • If something is missing, the assistant asks a short question (with quick-pick options where it can).
  • When it has enough, it shows a synopsis: the deal type, the reward, the products, and any schedule it inferred, plus a list of anything it assumed.
  • Click Create draft to open the campaign in the builder, prefilled and ready to review.
  • Not quite right? Keep chatting to refine it ("make it 25% and only hoodies") and it redraws the synopsis. You can refine as many times as you like.
Note

The assistant always creates a draft. Nothing goes live until you review it in the builder and publish it yourself.

Write a prompt that gets a great draft

You do not need perfect wording. But the more of these you include, the closer the first draft lands to what you want:

  • The reward: a percentage ("20% off"), an amount ("$15 off"), free shipping, a free gift, or a fixed bundle price.
  • The trigger: a quantity ("buy 3"), a spend goal ("orders over $100"), or a buy-and-get ("buy 2 get 1 free").
  • What it covers: all products, a collection by name ("the Summer collection"), or a tag.
  • A schedule, if any: "this weekend", "for 7 days", "until the end of the month".

Quick prompts to try

Each of these produces a clean draft on its own. They cover the six campaign types Stackable supports:

  • "20% off the Summer collection"
  • "Buy 2, get 1 free on t-shirts"
  • "Free shipping over $50"
  • "Spend $100, get $15 off the order"
  • "Give a free gift when the cart reaches $75"
  • "Bundle any 3 mugs for $42"

How complex can it get?

You can pack several details into one prompt and the assistant will fold them into the draft. Anything it cannot infer, it either asks about or lists as an assumption on the synopsis so nothing is hidden:

  • "20% off the Outerwear collection this weekend only, and make the name Winter Warmup"
  • "Buy 3 of any hoodie, get the 4th free, running for two weeks"
  • "Spend $150 and get free shipping, tagged for wholesale customers"
Tip

If it is unsure, it asks

A vague prompt like "run a sale" will not guess wildly. The assistant asks what kind of deal and how much off, then drafts it. You stay in control at every step.

What it does and does not do

  • It sets the deal type, reward, threshold, and schedule, and it can target all products, a named collection, or a tag.
  • It does not pick exact products or variants for you. When a deal needs specific items, it lands you on the product picker in the builder to choose them.
  • It never publishes. Review the draft, adjust anything, and publish when you are ready.
