Volume: buy more, save more
Reward shoppers for buying more of the products you choose. Set quantity tiers, each with its own reward, and the highest tier the shopper reaches wins.
A Volume campaign is a "buy more, save more" ladder. You set one or more quantity tiers, and each tier carries a reward. As the shopper adds more eligible items, they climb the ladder and the highest tier they reach applies. It is a product discount, so it changes item prices directly.
What you set
| Field | Choices | Default |
|---|---|---|

| Tier: reward value | A percentage or a money amount | None |
| Counting | Per variant / Per product / Across matching products / Whole cart | Per product |
| Skip first N units (advanced) | Whole number, 0 or more | 0 |
| Repeat (advanced) | Once / Repeat | Once |
Reward types
- Percent off: a percentage off each eligible unit. It must be greater than 0. There is no hard 100 cap; a value above 100 simply makes the item free, never a negative price.
- Amount off each: a fixed money amount off every eligible unit, entered in your store currency.
- Set price: every eligible unit costs exactly this price.
Amount off can never take an item below free. If your "$30 off" is larger than the item’s price, the item simply becomes free, never a negative price.
Set price sets a target price per unit and is worked out at checkout from the item’s live price. If you change a product’s price after publishing, the discount recalculates automatically. A set price above the current price simply applies no discount until the price rises above it.
How the quantity is counted
Counting decides what "buy 3" means: three of the exact same variant, three of one product across its variants, any three eligible items combined, or three anywhere in the cart. The default is Per product. This is important enough to have its own page.
Set price plus Whole cart is not allowed
You cannot combine a Set price reward with the Whole cart counting mode. The builder blocks it. Use "Across matching products" or a narrower counting mode instead.
Skip first units and repeat
Skip first N units keeps the first N qualifying units at full price and starts the reward at the next unit, which is how "2nd item 50% off" is built (skip 1, then 50 percent off). Repeat re-applies the tier for every complete set in the cart. For a percent-off or amount-off Volume deal, once versus repeat makes no difference: once the quantity threshold is met, every qualifying item is discounted. Repeat only multiplies for the Set price reward, where it controls how many complete sets get the set price.
