DocumentationTrack redemptions

Track code redemptions

See how many codes have been used, batch by batch. Redemption counts come from your real orders, so they reflect what shoppers actually redeemed.

Stackable counts code redemptions from your orders, so the numbers you see reflect real purchases, not clicks or link opens. This page explains where those counts show up and what they do and do not cover today.

The Redeemed count

On the Codes page, every batch shows a Redeemed number next to its total. It is the count of codes in that batch that have been used at least once. When a shopper checks out with one of your codes, the order tells Stackable which code was used, and the batch total goes up.

Note

Counted from orders, once

Redemptions are read from your store’s new orders as they come in. Each order is counted a single time, so refreshes and retries never double-count. There is no separate tracking pixel or link counter; the source of truth is the order itself.

Where redemption data lives today

  • Per batch: the Redeemed count on each batch row on the Codes page, so you can compare one channel or drop against another.
  • Per campaign: because every code redemption is a real order on the campaign’s live discount, it also feeds the campaign’s overall performance the same way an automatic discount would.

Comparing batches is the quickest way to see which channel is pulling. If you gave each creator or partner their own batch with its own channel label, the Redeemed count per batch tells you whose codes are landing.

What is coming

Note

Per-code revenue is on the roadmap

Today you can see how many codes in a batch were redeemed. Revenue and average order value broken down to the individual code, and down to exactly which orders used a code, are on the roadmap and not available yet. When they land, they will build on the same order data the Redeemed count already uses.

Tips for cleaner tracking

  • Give every batch a channel label when you generate it. A batch with no label is harder to attribute later.
  • Use a distinct prefix per channel so codes are recognisable even outside the app, for example in a partner’s report.
  • Keep one campaign per offer. Redemptions roll up to the campaign, so mixing unrelated offers in one campaign muddies the totals.
