DocumentationGift tier table

Gift tier table widget

Shows every free-gift tier as a card with the gift's photo, name, and value, so shoppers can see exactly what each spend level earns and which gift comes next.

The gift ladder makes a Free Gift campaign visible while shoppers browse. Each tier is a card: the gift's photo, its name, the spend needed to unlock it, and its value shown struck through next to "Free". As the cart grows, the ladder marks which tier is unlocked and which one is next, so the whole ladder sells itself: "you already have the candle - the tote bag is only $30 away".

It pairs with the cart progress bar, which nudges toward the NEXT gift with a single line ("$30 away from the tote bag"), while the ladder shows the whole picture. Use both: the ladder to set the goal while browsing, the bar to close it in the cart.

Adding it to your theme

The gift ladder is an app block you place from the theme editor, like the volume tier table. It can sit on the cart page (the priority spot, where the gift is claimed), on product pages, or on your home page. The Widgets page in the app has a one-click "Add to theme" link that drops it into the right template.

  • Shows the first live Free Gift campaign, with every tier sorted lowest spend to highest.
  • A single-threshold Free Gift shows as a one-row ladder: one card, one goal.
  • Heading, accent color, and corner radius are block settings; "Match my theme colors" inherits your theme's palette.

How unlocked and next are marked

The ladder measures the same spend the checkout discount measures: the items the campaign targets, minus any gift already in the cart (a free gift never funds its own threshold). The highest tier the cart clears is marked "Unlocked" - that is the gift the shopper gets, because a tiered gift always gives exactly one gift, the best one reached. The lowest tier not yet cleared is marked as the next reward.

Note

The gift's name, photo, and value come from your product catalog when the campaign is published. If you rename a gift product or change its image, the ladder picks the change up the next time any campaign is published, paused, or resumed.

Fail-safes

  • Foreign-currency carts hide the ladder entirely: thresholds are set in your store currency, and a converted "spend $30 more" could mislead.
  • Campaigns targeting collections, tags, or specific variants show the ladder without live unlocked/next marking, because the storefront cannot honestly compute that spend - the checkout discount still applies correctly.
  • A gift product that has been deleted simply loses its photo and name; the ladder falls back to a generic "free gift" label.
