Free Shipping
Give free or reduced shipping once the cart reaches a spend threshold, for example "free shipping over $75". Shipping discounts are independent of your item prices.
A Free Shipping campaign removes or reduces the shipping charge once the shopper’s eligible spend reaches a threshold. It is a shipping discount, so it never changes item prices and runs independently of your product and order discounts.
What you set
| Field | Choices | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Tier: minimum spend | Money amount, unique per tier | One tier |
| Tier: reward value | A percentage from 1 to 100 | 100 |
Percentage is the only reward type. 100 means fully free shipping. A value below 100 is a partial discount, so 50 gives half-price shipping. As with Cart Goal, the spend threshold is measured on the whole cart subtotal, not a filtered subset, and you can add multiple tiers.
What it applies to
It applies to all shipping methods
Once the spend threshold is met, the discount applies to every available shipping method. You cannot yet limit it to specific rates (for example only standard, not express), specific countries, or heavy-item rates. Rate- and country-specific shipping discounts are on the roadmap.
A worked Free Shipping example (cart spend in, shipping discount out) will slot in here from the tested golden fixtures.
How it combines
Because shipping is its own lane, a Free Shipping campaign coexists with your product and order campaigns only when the relevant "Combine with..." switches are on for both campaigns. Reward allocation has no effect here.
